The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) has announced the return of Miami Spa Months for its 18th year. The program, which runs from now to August 31, invites locals and visitors to experience wellness treatments and therapies from more than 30 participating spas across the destination at prices 40%-50% less than regular service rates (Tier 1 at $109, Tier 2 at $159, and Tier 3 at $199). What’s the cutting edge thinking about healthy living as well as longevity? Any practical tips on what we can do? I was invited to a presentation by the team behind IM8 the new uber vitamin supplement from former soccer great David Beckham who, heaven knows, can afford to hire the best minds to develop a product. Off I went to the Faena Hotel and a press briefing, and came away with serious things to think about, especially since I had decided that after many years of using supplements prescribed by an immunologist in New York, it was time to relook them with something that is “state of the science”. Here’s what I discovered, some key details about the supplement and valuable tips for our health.
Arguably the event of the year is here. Miami Art Week 2024 descends upon the Magic City, Monday, Dec. 2 through Sunday, Dec. 8 bringing an international jet-set of art lovers, art galleries, art dealers, fashionistas and those who just want to see and be seen. Plus, Miami art week has also come to embrace wellness, with dedicated events and activations. We're not going to get into what is happening at the art fairs, but rather, some of the unique picks you may not know about, from popups to even an ice bath on the beach. And if you want to get away from it all while the crowds are here, we even have a top pick for you in Palm Beach that's sure to help you regain your tranquility, along with ideas for lunch while you're there.
The new 20,000 square foot Hurrem Hammam Miami is a combination luxurious and  authentic Turkish hammam and spa. For my taste, it’s arguably the best spa in Miami when considering the top quality of the facilities and décor and wide range of services. They call it “wellness & spa” and indeed it is. And better yet, you can spend the entire day for the price of a lunch at a fancy restaurant in Miami. Don’t want to pass up lunch? They have Topkapi Turkish restaurant as well.
It's that time, Miami Spa Months 2024, where we can pamper ourselves for less thanks to The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) From now to August 31, locals and visitors can enjoy best-in-class spas across Greater Miami & Miami Beach with enticing deals, more than 35 offers.
